Summary of Chapter 20:

Outer Story:

Jesus (peace be upon Him), after the death of Judas, the crucifixion of Judas in place of Jesus (peace be upon Him), which our Father for this age, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), our Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us for our age, teaches us, that through the grace and mercy of God, they crucified Judas not Jesus (peace be upon Him), and because Judas look like Jesus (peace be upon Him), and because God was the one who made the switch, nobody knew, until later, until much later, when that clarity came into at least one of the disciples of Jesus (peace be upon Him), who was the 13 disciple of Jesus (peace be upon Him).

Into the disciple Barnabus (peace be upon Him), who in addition to writing the "Gospel of John" wrote the "Barnabus Bible" which emits the crucifixition of Jesus (peace be upon Him), realizing that the true message of Jesus, the true "Gift of God" for each age that we call Jesus (peace be upon Him), is the transformation of the disciples of Jesus (peace be upon Him), in each age of Jesus (peace be upon Him), over 2000 years ago, and in the ages following the age of Jesus (peace be upon Him), in the age of the Prophet Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him), over 1400 years ago, and in the age of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him), over 1000 years ago, and now in our age, in the age of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), in each of these ages, the transformation of the disciples of Jesus (peace be upon Him) into the "Form of God" for their age, if that be their true intention, that is, to become "One with" God (peace be upon Him) within them before they die to the "outside" of them.

The Inner Meaning:

We have a choice of an eternal life of "Oneness with" God, or of an eternal life of "separation from" God, a choice we must each make before we die, and "no choice" is a choice, a choice to continue to live as "separate from" God until we die, and to experience what that really means within us, for eternity, after we die.

A.  Jesus First Appears To Mary Magdalene, After The Crucifixion of Judas

Outer Story:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) first appears to Mary Magdalene, after the death of Judas, and tells her,

"Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and to My God, and your God."

From: "Gospel of John" - Chapter 20, Verse 1-18

1.  The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark,
unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2.  Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom
Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the
sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid Him.
3.  Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4.  So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first
          to the sepulchre.
5.  And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not
          in.
6.  Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth
          the linen clothes lie,
7.  And the napkin, that was about His head, not lying with the linen clothes, but
wrapped together in a place by itself.
8.  Then went in also the other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he
          saw, and believed.
9.  For as yet they knew not the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
10.  Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11.  But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped
down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12.  And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the
feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13.  And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them,
Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid
          Him.
14.  And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing,
and knew not that it was Jesus.
15.  Jesus said unto her, Woman, why weepest thou?  Whom seekest thou?  She
supposing Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, Sir, if thou have borne Him
hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away.
16.  Jesus said unto her, Mary.  She turned herself, and saith unto Him, Rabboni;
          which is to say, Master.
17.  Jesus saith unto her, Touch Me not; for I am not yet ascended to My Father: but
go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your
Father; and to My God, and your God.
18.  Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and
that He had spoken these things unto her.

Inner Meaning:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) appears to His disciples, after the crucifixion of Judas, and manifests the necessary signs to strengthen their faith and trust in God, in the One who sent Jesus (peace be upon Him) into the world on the "outside" of them, to become as Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) teaches us,

"The Guru of God for all of the lights on earth".

B.  Jesus Explains The New Role of His Disciples In The World

Outer Story:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) next appears to His disciples, except for Thomas, and greets them saying, "Peace be upon you", and shows them evidence of the crucifixion of Judas in His own body, showing them evidence of the one who betrayed Him, and tells them that "As My Father sent Me (into the world), even so send I you (into the world), to now do in the world what I did in the world, to now be in the world what I was to the world, which was the Judgment and the Salvation.

And as He receive the Holy Ghost when He was baptized by "John the Baptist" so now He baptizes them with the water of God's grace, and tells them, "Receive ye the Holy Ghost", and as God had given Him the power and right to forgive sins, so He now tell His disciples to do the same, to do again as He did in the world, telling them,

"Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them, and whose soever
sins ye retain, they are retained".

From: "Gospel of John" - Chapter 20, Verse 19-23

19.  Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors
were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus
and stood in their midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20.  And when He had so said, He showed unto them His hands and His side. Then
we were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
21.  Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as My Father hath sent Me,
          even so send I you.
22.  And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said unto them, Receive
          ye the Holy Ghost:
23.  Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them, and whose soever sins
          ye retain, they are retained.

The Inner Meaning:

Jesus explains the new role of his disciples in the world, which is to become the form of Jesus (peace be upon Him) in the world on the "outside" of them, as Jesus (peace be upon Him) has become their soul within them, as Jesus (peace be upon Him), and God within Him, have joined with the wisdom surrounding their soul to become victorious over the "enemy of their soul" within them, to become victorious over their life in the world "outside" of them.

And in this way, having liberated their soul life, their pure life from their impure birth, having liberated their soul from the cross of their elemental body, having joined with the wisdom surrounding their soul to pull out the 5 nails of "desire to live here", that is, the desire to live in the world on the "outside" of them and sin, and sin by living on the "outside" of them as "separate from" God, as "separate from" each other, and as "separate from" the Creation of God within them, and in this way, Jesus (peace be upon Him) within them, and God within Him, have become the "Palace of their soul" within them, the "House of their wisdom" within them, the "Shepherd and the Tree" within them.

And in this way, Jesus (peace be upon Him) within them, and God within Him, and they in the world, having become the flower of the Holy Trinity of God within them, with the fragrance of that "Flower of God", which in truth is their fragrance in the world, if they will but realize, understand, accept, and join as "One with" it, is in truth God in the world on the "outside" of them, is in truth the qualities, the actions, the intentions, and the duties of God in the world.  Such is their new role in the world on the "outside" of them, which is the "Form of God" in the world, if that be their true intention, that is, to become "One with" God within them for eternity, before they die to the temporary world on the "outside" of them.  Amen

C.  Jesus Explains The Importance of "Absolute Faith"

Outer Story:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) meets His disciples again, this time with Thomas present, and shares with them the importance of faith and trust in God, even when we cannot verify what is true from what we are seeing as happening in the world.  For as Jesus told Thomas,

"Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that
have not seen, and yet have believed".

From: "Gospel of John" - Chapter 20, Verse 24-31

24.  But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus
          came.
25.  The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said
unto them. Except I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into
the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe.
26.  And after eight days again His disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then
came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be
          unto you.
27.  Then said He to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach
hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28.  And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.
29.  Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed:
blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30.  And many other signs truly did Jesus (show) in the presence of His disciples,
          which are not written in this book;
31.  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God; and that believing ye might have life through His Name.

The Inner Meaning:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) explains the importance of having absolute faith, certitude, and determination that "God alone exists", of having the complete acceptance of the heart that "God is One", because only through this type of faith, which is really faith and trust in the "Formless One" within us, and within everyone and everything else, can we ever hope to accept the "Gift of God" for our age, and accept what actually seeing and hearing Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us in our age, can do for us, which is transform us into the form of God for our age, and transform Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us for our age into our soul joined with our wisdom within us, having liberated our soul from the cross of our elemental body, from our impure birth.

That is, having transformed our life and wisdom into the "Palace of the soul", the "House of wisdom", within us, the house of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) within us, before we die to the world on the "outside" of us, with us becoming in this way, the "Form of God" for our age, which is the qualities, and actions, and intentions, and duties of God in the world, becoming in this way, the "Light of God" for our age, in this way, becoming "One with" the true Child of God for our age.  Amen.

16.  Jesus said unto her, Mary.  She turned herself, and saith unto Him, Rabboni;
          which is to say, Master.

30.  And many other signs truly did Jesus (show) in the presence of His disciples,
          which are not written in this book;

Amen.
